Garden Stuff

This sunflower would not stop growing as you can see it is almost 10 feet tall
and whenever I go into the garden my two helpers are never far behind
This is the second year I have grown this interesting and edible plant anybody know what it is? Yes I know what it is.. just wondering if anybody else does. And yes I also know that our life needs more excitement when all I can blog about is garden stuff. Posted by Picasa

swingset

I know this collage looks crazy busy, but Friday morning @ 7:00 before we went to work, we took Olivia outside to see her birthday present from us and this kind of captures the excitement and discovery as her and Sabrina found A SWINGSET IN THE BACKYARD! They were so eager to try all the different parts (we confirmed again that Sabrina is part monkey). Doesn't Olivia's smile speak volumes? (The boots were on because they didn't like the wet grass) Posted by Picasa

Olivia is 4!

Last Friday, our oldest grandchild turned four. Wow, how old does that make us? On thursday evening we had a family dinner and party for her. She got her first Barbie from Noah & his parents........she was pretty excited! She liked her dolphin ice cream cake too. Isn't she beautiful?! Posted by Picasa

Bocci

Today, our friends Zena & Barry invited us over to her parents place for a swim & bbq. Unfortunately it was kinda cloudy and cool, so we played bocci instead of swimming....guys against the girls. Now the girls were outnumbered, so we did start with a disadvantage - however a picture is worth a thousand words, so let me just say that the girls were green :) And doesn't Zena's face say it all? It didn't help the guys at all that Barry got his games mixed up! Posted by Picasa

Saturday @ Greg & Becky's

Everybody in the pool! Good thing everybody is little!!
New Nemo sprinkler from Olivia's birthday party...Noah liked the cold water on his belly.

Yah! It's hot!

Best $20.00 I ever spent was on this pool from our neighbors' garage sale yesterday...we put it up and have enjoyed it sooo much these last two HOT days. Even a few inches of water really does the job! Especially if you have a popsicle too. Yah, us girls know how to chill!
Okay, Ricka, this one's for you. That's as good as it gets! Posted by Picasa

Another hot day

It was another hot day today so of course the hose came out. Noah spends the day with Cindi and his cousins when Becky is at work so he got involved with the water games
Sabina found a way to keep her feet cool and Olivia was only to happy to fill her boots Posted by Picasa

Summer fun

Today it was hot enough to set out the sprinkler for the girls to play in

This was the first time Olivia actually enjoyed running through the sprinkler. Last summer she would not run through it.

It"s not gas

Malcolm has started to react to people and yesterday he had some of his biggest grins. Posted by Picasa

Grandmas' helper

It seemed things were moving to slow for Sabrina with Grandma on the phone so she decided to give a "helping" hand. Posted by Picasa

Sabrina in a pot

If you have looked at a previous blog from Cindi you saw one use the girls found for the empty pots well Sabrina found another. You may think she is looking for something but no...she just loves to sing and she liked the sound in the pot so she just stuck her head in and sang. Posted by Picasa
