Last weekend, we & the Reids went to Victoria to reconnect with old friends, Doug & Carol Stewart. I used to work with Carol before we started our families - then we had our firstborn within three weeks of each other. They have been living in Victoria for about 25 years, having grown up there. We so enjoyed being together again - there really is something special about old friendships. Here we are waiting for the ferry. We were priviledged to see whales, both on the way there & back home again!

What a great weekend it was! I agree "old" friends are the best, so it has been wonderful to reconnect and you are welcome back anytime. How about with Greg and crew next time...or all 10 of you! And Doug says, great pictures but where is he? Carol

Oh it does sound like a wonderful time. I love the ferry. So funny how either you love it or hate it. To me it's part of the island adventure. I loved your collages, and well . . .now I want to go too.
